Uzumaki Naruko was born three minutes junior to her brother Naruto, but she hit puberty a lot faster, and at fourteen her assets make it next to impossible to tell that she is only a freshman, and not a transfer. Her attitude on life is very different from her brother's, while she is not exactly as cynical as someone like Sasuke by any stretch of the imagination, but she's got a certain sexual sarcasm in her speech patterns, and is quite the flirt. In the points that she and Naruto were orphaned did she live a hard life, one most people couldn't be able to ever to imagine what either of them have been through judging by their actions. Most women, at some point, suffer some kind of undesired sexual attention, and Naruko recieved her first dose of this at a very young age, and it makes such a sensetive topic for her. She's not very shy about doing sexual things, which is something she herself cannot quite explain, but her past doesn't haunt her the way it could. However, because of what did happen, her brother is more protective of her than anything. She has a tendency to get involved in bad things, and while she's not exactly "badass" she is the type to skip class smoking on the roof if she's having a bad day. Naruko finds an attraction to danger, but she's level headed and rather smart, though hardly the type of genius that Oshima seems to gravitate. Instead, she's more or less a normal girl, maybe a bit rough around the edges, but surprisingly stable. She knows of Naruto's mental disorder, and in the same way he takes care of her, she attempts to take care of him. She doesn't regard him as sick, or wrong, or even "special" - just Naruto, and regardless of whether or not she has a brother with a split personality disorder, he is still her brother, and she loves him. She is generally responsible for getting him to take his medications, and is the one to take care of him if he ends up unconcious on the street unaware as to why he's got blood underneath his nails. It's a family sort of love. Naruko followed her brother to Oshima for a passion of theatre arts. While she's hardly bad at athletics, she's far more talented with a camera in hand or under a stage light, and her ability to capture emotion is rather uncanny. Her singing voice is extremely powerful as well, and the combination of her talents, looks, and stability give her this almost Perfect Girl vibe, though if such were to be percieved it would be horribly untrue. As mentioned previously, she has a dark sort of sarcasm about her, one that either attracts or drives away others, and her cocktail of addictions (Cigarettes, singing while she walks, MySpace, coffee, and beating up perverts) make her an interesting, but different sort of girl. Her tastes, romantically, are interesting as well. |
